Wings & Waves Waterpark is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Waterpark Safety Officer to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the safety of our guests and staff in all areas of the waterpark, including pools, slides, and water play areas.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Conduct daily safety checks to identify potential hazards and take corrective action to prevent accidents.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all guests and staff, responding promptly to their needs and concerns.
• Inspect and maintain slides, pools, and rescue equipment daily to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Attend training sessions and in-services as required to stay up-to-date on the latest safety protocols and procedures.
• Enforce all waterpark policies and procedures, including those related to guest safety and behavior.
• Recognize and prevent potential accident situations, rescuing guests showing signs of distress and administering first aid as necessary.
• Perform job duties safely and effectively, adhering to waterpark policies, procedures, and employee manual.
• Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance, working collaboratively in a team environment to achieve our goals.
**Requirements:**
• Must have Ellis and Associates Special Facilities Lifeguard Training Credential (CPR/Oxygen Administration/AED is included in this certificate).
• Must be at least 16 years of age or older to apply for this position.
