Lifeguard II

Wings and Waves is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lifeguard to join our water safety team. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of swimmers in all areas of the pool and water park, including pools, slides, and water play areas.

• Supervise designated swimming areas and maintain constant surveillance to ensure the safety of swimmers.
• Provide excellent customer service to all guests.
• Inspect and maintain slides, pools, and rescue equipment daily.
• Attend training sessions and in-services as required.
• Enforce all water park policies and procedures.
• Prevent guest injury through proactive safety communication.
• Recognize and prevent potential accident situations.
• Rescue guests showing signs of distress and administer first aid as necessary.
• Perform job duties safely and effectively in compliance with waterpark policies, procedures, and employee manual.
• Adhere to the waterpark dress code.
• Knowledge of park and campus events and respond to guest inquiries as appropriate.
• Assists with janitorial, maintenance or office work as needed.
• Maintain a punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment in the spirit of cooperation and continually improving the waterpark.
• Respectfully take direction from manager.
• Other duties as assigned.

You must be at least 16 years or older to apply for this position.

Ellis and Associates Shallow Water Lifeguard OR Special Facilities Lifeguard Training Credential required.

We will be holding the courses if you are not already certified or need to be recertified.
