Key Responsibilities
  • Ministry Development: Collaborate with the Early Childhood Director and staff to develop and implement a comprehensive ministry plan that aligns with the church's vision and values.
  • Program Execution: Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of Sunday morning and Wednesday night early childhood programs, ensuring a high level of quality and excellence.
  • Volunteer Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of volunteers to support the early childhood ministry, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication channels with parents, volunteers, and staff to ensure seamless coordination and a positive experience for all.
  • Event Planning: Assist in planning and executing church-wide events, such as VBS, holiday services, and other activities that promote community engagement and spiritual growth.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other ministry teams, including Grace Kids, NXT Gen, and church administration, to ensure a unified and cohesive approach to ministry.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., early childhood education, ministry, or a related field).
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a role involving early childhood ministry, program development, and volunteer management.
  • Personal Qualities: Exhibits a meaningful and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ, demonstrates a commitment to personal and active participation in the Great Commission, and conducts life with integrity.
