We are seeking a highly skilled Signals Processing Engineer, Level 3 to join our team at Independent Software. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing DSP algorithms in software and hardware, specifically Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement DSP algorithms in software and hardware, specifically FPGAs.
  • Develop novel approaches for utilizing COTS and GOTS systems for creating processing solutions outside the intended use.
  • Collaborate with SMEs to design and implement software models in MATLAB or other similar design suites.
  • Provide analysis of module/model output to allow creation of follow-on processes.
  • Act as a technology expert, directing implementation of sub-modules necessary for processing signals of interest.
Requirements:
  • Ten (10) years of experience as a DSP Algorithm developer is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Five (5) years of additional DSP experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
  • Must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
