We are seeking a highly skilled Signals Processing Engineer, Level 3 to join our team at Independent Software. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing DSP algorithms in software and hardware, specifically Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs).
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement DSP algorithms in software and hardware, specifically FPGAs.
- Develop novel approaches for utilizing COTS and GOTS systems for creating processing solutions outside the intended use.
- Collaborate with SMEs to design and implement software models in MATLAB or other similar design suites.
- Provide analysis of module/model output to allow creation of follow-on processes.
- Act as a technology expert, directing implementation of sub-modules necessary for processing signals of interest.
- Ten (10) years of experience as a DSP Algorithm developer is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university is required.
- Five (5) years of additional DSP experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
- Must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
As a Signals Processing Engineer, Level 3 at Independent Software, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects, collaborate with a talented team, and develop your skills in DSP algorithm development and FPGA design.
