Job Summary

Summary: Provides exceptional customer service by taking food and beverage orders and delivering items to dining room guests in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prominently greets guests in the dining room and takes food and beverage orders in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Delivers food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards.
  • Communicates effectively with back-of-the-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery and special requests are accommodated.
  • Collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests.
  • Ensures the dining room is properly set up prior to and after service periods.
  • Operates various equipment, including fire extinguishers, telephones, and coffee machines.
  • Collaborates with staff from other departments to perform job duties during special events and functions.
Requirements
  • Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
