In this role, the Staff Accountant will play a crucial part in the accounting workflow, collaborating with various department leaders and external partners to ensure precise reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of accounting principles and be adept at analyzing financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate completed financial statements
  • Generate internal reports for management
  • Conduct reporting and analysis
  • Prepare reconciliations and accruals
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Maintain financial documentation, records, and data
  • Collaborate with department leaders and external partners to produce accurate data for reporting
  • Perform ad hoc reporting as required
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is mandatory
  • A minimum of 1 year of general accounting experience with a strong familiarity with financial statements is essential
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel, is required
