Job Summary

As the Project Coordinator for the Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program at the University of New England, you will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of the program. This includes overseeing administrative functions, coordinating programmatic evaluation and reporting, and managing budget expenses. You will work closely with the Senior Program Manager and other key staff to achieve program goals. This is a full-time position based on the Portland Campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and carry out various day-to-day administrative functions for the program.
  • Coordinate programmatic evaluation and reporting activities and ensure all reports are submitted in a timely fashion.
  • Develop and oversee partner contracts, including creation of scope of work, budget and workplan monitoring.
  • Manage budget expenses related to the program, including monitoring of all expenditures for each funding stream and reconciling expenditures.
  • Serve as the informational point of contact for the program and specific program activities.
  • Support the development and achievement of program goals.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and 3 - 5 years relevant administrative experience in office practices, budget/accounting and customer service.
  • Excellent administrative and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work as a productive and collaborative team member.
  • Ability to deal effectively with a variety of individuals both inside and outside the University.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
