Job Summary

Monro, Inc. is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for performing basic vehicle diagnostics, completing courtesy inspections, and assisting with inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Basic Vehicle Diagnostics: Identify required repairs and provide accurate estimates to customers.
  • Complete Courtesy Inspections: Consistently complete Monro's Courtesy Inspection process, identifying, documenting, and communicating additional needed services and repairs.
  • Assist with Inventory Management: Pull tires and parts, unload and stock inventory, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Perform General Store Duties: Ensure the store is in excellent condition and maintained to Monro standards for cleanliness and guest readiness.
  • Adhere to Safety Standards: Consistently perform services in accordance with Monro's safety standards, including wheel torque, oil safety, and compliance procedures.
  • Test Drive Vehicles: Test drive vehicles in accordance with Monro's Road Test policy, utilizing dedicated test drive routes while maintaining local traffic and safety laws.
  • Maintain Technical Knowledge: Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures, governmental standards, and ANSI/OSHA standards. Complete all required Monro University training courses and modules to ensure proficiency.
  • Operate Equipment Safely: Operate, utilize, and maintain all equipment in a safe manner in accordance with Monro and equipment manufacturer guidelines.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Previous Automotive Experience
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment
  • Strong Communication Skills
