Job Title:
Maintenance Technician With a skilled workforce of over 800, 11 manufacturing facilities across the Northeast, 750,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space, and a full suite of in-house metal manufacturing and value-added capabilities, we are an integral and trusted supply chain partner to many.

Job Summary:
This is a 2nd shift position with hours being 3:00pm-11:00pm with a 10% shift differential. This role is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the company business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production hours and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities. Occasionally perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision. Comply with OSHA safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Must maintain and reinforce ISO standards and objectives. Must be able to work extended hours when required.

Requirements:
Must possess basic computer skills. Must have a good mechanical aptitude. Must be self-motivated. Must have the ability to multitask and complete assignments on time. Must possess strong communication skills. Must be detail oriented. Must be willing to work overtime when necessary. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to effectively work with people. Machine trouble shooting skills. Basic knowledge for electrical. Not afraid of heights and can work from ladders.
