Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for electrical, mechanical, and PLC troubleshooting, specifically focusing on Omron and Click PLCs. Your role will involve troubleshooting but not programming these systems. You will handle electrical troubleshooting of 3-phase motors, switches, sensors, servo drives, and VFDs. Additionally, you will manage mechanical troubleshooting, including hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, pumps, motors, belts, and roller conveyors. Preventative maintenance will be conducted once a month, requiring a complete line shutdown for 4-5 days. On a daily basis, you will respond to calls and complete work orders while collaborating with production staff and the engineering team to ensure efficient repairs.

Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting on 3-phase motors, switches, sensors, servo drives, and VFDs.
  • Conduct mechanical troubleshooting, including hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, pumps, motors, belts, and roller conveyors.
  • Troubleshoot PLCs from Omron and Click brands without the need for programming.
  • Execute preventative maintenance monthly, involving a 4-5 day complete line shutdown.
  • Respond to maintenance calls and complete work orders promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with production staff and the engineering team to complete repairs efficiently.
Essential SkilOur Client
  • Electrical troubleshooting experience
  • Mechanical troubleshooting skills, particularly with hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, motors, pumps
  • At least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Self-motivated with the ability to troubleshoot and work independently
  • Strong communication skills

Work Environment

The work environment is a manufacturing setting, which can be hot during the summertime. The current team consists of 5 technicians, and we are expanding to 12 as new equipment is installed. Shifts are available from 6pm to 6am and 8pm to 8am.
