Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the video team to produce videos that foster emotional connections with donors and alumni throughout various stages of engagement (including promotional content, digital media, event highlights, online publications, social media, and web content).
  • Ensure compliance with Rutgers University video standards and branding guidelines.
  • Partner in the creation of video content for alumni, foundation, and university stakeholders to maintain brand consistency.
  • Assist in the management and organization of the foundation and alumni association's video channels.
  • Incorporate feedback from multiple stakeholders during the editing process, often under tight deadlines.
  • Support filming days as an assistant videographer or in technical roles such as key grip and gaffer.
  • Occasionally take the lead on smaller video productions.
  • Help with logistical tasks such as set preparation and equipment management.
  • Attend significant meetings and events as required.
  • Engage in brainstorming sessions to develop creative video concepts.
  • Assist the video producer and project manager in coordinating schedules for interviews and shoots.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
