Solar Farm Operations Supervisor Job Summary

Terrasmart is a leading provider of turn-key solar mounting systems, and we're seeking a skilled Site Supervisor to oversee the construction and remediation phases of our solar farms. As a key member of our Warranty Department, you'll provide expert guidance and direction to internal and external labor teams, ensuring timely delivery of projects and adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Maintenance: Conduct daily inspections and perform preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Team Management: Manage field teams and temporary workers, focusing on performance, safety, and team motivation.
  • Training and Development: Train and motivate team members to align with company values and culture.
  • Expense Tracking: Track and record expenses, labor hours, and subcontractor performance.
  • Quality Control: Ensure installations meet construction plans and quality standards.
  • Project Updates: Schedule and lead regular meetings for project updates and strategies.
  • Performance Reporting: Execute and report on daily performance strategies and project status.
  • Heavy Equipment Operation: Drive trucks and operate heavy equipment as required.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Manage field construction teams, temporary workers, and contractors.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2+ years in solar or civil construction, heavy equipment operation, and crew management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and expense tracking.
  • Licenses/Certifications: OSHA 30 and valid Driver's License required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work Environment: Outdoor fieldwork.
  • Travel: 100% travel required.
