Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in the operating room. As an Operating Room RN at Altru Health, you will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless surgical experiences for our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients undergoing surgery
  • Carefully assess and evaluate patients' physical and emotional needs
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or concerns
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and treatment plans

Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Dakota
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • 1+ year of experience as an Operating Room RN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
