Job Summary

Ally Pediatric Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team in the Northern West Phoenix area. As a Behavior Technician, you will work closely with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities, implementing personalized treatment plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Our services also include speech-language and feeding therapy, and we believe in empowering families and being an ally to them on their children's growth journeys.

Responsibilities
  • Implement treatment plans as developed by BCBAs, working directly with clients to achieve their goals
  • Collect data on client progress and collaborate with BCBAs and other therapy staff to ensure effective treatment plans
  • Prepare treatment materials and supplies in advance of therapy sessions, ensuring a smooth and efficient process
  • Communicate client progress and any concerns to BCBAs and therapy team, maintaining open and transparent communication
  • Attend ongoing training and development sessions related to ABA therapy, staying up-to-date on best practices and methodologies
  • Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor with clients, families, and staff, providing a positive and supportive environment
Requirements
  • Completed or willingness to complete Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training, with a focus on developing and implementing effective treatment plans
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required), with a bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred), demonstrating a strong foundation in behavioral sciences and therapies
  • Experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities, with a focus on creating a supportive and inclusive environment
  • Ability to obtain fingerprint clearance card and background check, ensuring a safe and secure working environment
  • Reliable transportation to travel to and from client homes and/or therapy center, with a focus on flexibility and adaptability
  • Good record keeping skills and attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and communication
