About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated General Merchandise Team Leader to join our team at Target. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a team of hourly team members and driving sales growth through effective merchandise management, process efficiency, and guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of hourly team members to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and productivity in merchandise management, inventory control, and guest service.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sales growth, manage inventory, and optimize store operations.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of retail experience, with a focus on merchandise management and team leadership.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving process efficiency, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting sales goals and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
