  • Availability during peak vacation periods is required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum age of 18.
  • Reliability, dependability, and punctuality are essential.
  • PSIA/AASI Certified Level 1 status is highly recommended (or equivalent international certification).
  • A sincere desire to impart knowledge of the sport and inspire enjoyment in others.
  • Excellent guest service skills.
  • A growth mindset, open to learning and feedback.
  • Basic proficiency in English.
  • Previous experience in snowboard instruction is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Capacity to snowboard for up to 8 hours daily.
  • Capability to teach in harsh winter conditions (cold, snow, wind, rain, sleet, ice).

Work Environment:

  • The instructor's work environment is primarily outdoors in winter conditions, with temperatures varying throughout the day.
  • Must be able to navigate in snow, low visibility, powder, ice, and rain.

Position Type and Expected Hours:

  • The snowboard instructor role can be full-time, part-time, peak part-time, or temporary based on availability.
  • Typical work hours are from morning to late afternoon.
  • Availability for weekends, weekdays, and holidays is necessary.
  • Some instructional programs may occur in the evening but will conclude by a reasonable hour.
