We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Audit Manager. As a key member of our HR Recruiting Services team, you will be responsible for overseeing assigned areas of audit work, acting as an Auditor-in-Charge (AIC), and executing on the audit strategy for Lines of Business (LOBs).
Key Responsibilities- Drive Risk-Based Auditing: Define scope and test procedures to evaluate the control environment in conformance with audit policies, assessing issues for business impact and recommending severity ratings.
- Execute Audit Strategy: Develop and execute audit plans, leveraging automation and innovative methods in a timely and high-quality manner.
- Act as Auditor-in-Charge: Oversee audit testing, ensuring it is executed in a timely manner and conforms with quality standards, audit policies, and procedures.
- Assess Business Impacts: Evaluate the impact of audit findings on business processes, controls, and strategies, providing recommendations on severity ratings and escalating broad themes or trends accordingly.
- Lead and Mentor: Oversee a team of associates, providing day-to-day mentoring and guidance, and fostering an inclusive work environment.
- Maintain Business Partner Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with line management, primarily to develop business knowledge.
- Exercise Intellectual Curiosity: Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and judgment to effectively influence and challenge management to improve the control environment and drive continuous improvements on audit.
- Minimum 6-7+ Years of Experience: In Audit, Risk, Business Control, Compliance, Finance, or other relevant experience.
- Electronic Trading Expertise: Good understanding of Electronic Trading, including Direct Market Access, Algorithm trading & Strategies, and Sponsored Access.
- Sound Analytical Skills: Ability to plan, execute, and evaluate audit test plans within a risk-based audit methodology.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to successfully communicate to influence management and lead change in both strategic and tactical initiatives.
- Self-Starter: Self-starter with a desire to learn, able to teach others, and exhibits flexibility and intellectual curiosity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.
- Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to converse with management on all levels.
- Bachelor's Degree or Relevant Experience: Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
