**Job Summary:**
We are looking for a highly organized and efficient individual to assist with various administrative tasks, ensure seamless patient care, and maintain accurate records. As a Medical Office Support Specialist, you will be responsible for greeting patients, answering phone calls, verifying insurance, scheduling appointments, and performing other essential duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients and answer telephones in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Verify insurance coverage and schedule appointments accurately.
  • Confirm patient appointments and communicate changes as necessary.
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
  • Collect patient charges and process payments correctly.
  • Pre-authorize insurance for patient referrals and obtain necessary documents.
  • Review and respond to incoming specialist reports, refills, and lab results.
  • Coordinate referrals to specialists and manage medication requests.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Fluent English language skills (written and verbal).
  • Excellent interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and health insurance plans.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assisting certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software applications.
