Job Overview

Budget Truck and Car Rental is seeking dedicated Vehicle Service Attendants to guarantee that our fleet is meticulously prepared and ready for rental.

We offer both Full-time and Part-time shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Vehicle Service Attendant, your duties will include:

  • Refueling vehicles and maintaining accurate gas logs during your shift.
  • Thoroughly cleaning the interior, exterior, and tires of all vehicles.
  • Inspecting and replenishing fluids in vehicles as necessary.
  • Ensuring all safety features and mechanical systems are functioning properly.
  • Reporting any new damages or mechanical issues to the Service Manager.
  • Completing inspection sheets for each vehicle and placing them on the dashboard.
  • Applying tags and decals to vehicles as required.
  • Preparing vehicles for pre-wash and utilizing the car wash facilities.
  • Organizing and parking vehicles on the lot efficiently.
  • Maintaining a clean work environment and disposing of trash as needed.
  • Contributing to a collaborative team atmosphere by assisting other departments when necessary.

This description is not exhaustive. The incumbent may be assigned additional tasks and responsibilities as deemed appropriate by management.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Capable of lifting at least 30 lbs. and working outdoors.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics and maintenance.
  • Previous experience in detailing or car wash services.
