Position Summary:
Menorah Park is currently in search of a dedicated Culinary Specialist to join our dietary services team. This full-time position involves a variable shift schedule, with every other weekend off, aimed at delivering exceptional culinary services.

The role offers an hourly wage ranging from $19.87 to $20.39 and is based in a supportive and collaborative environment.


Compensation & Benefits:

This role provides an hourly compensation of $19.87 to $20.39, along with opportunities for overtime pay, paid time off for vacations and sick leave, a 401K plan, health insurance, and additional benefits.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Kitchen Manager in meal preparation and presentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety standards and protocols during food preparation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment and equipment.
  • Perform general kitchen duties including organization, sanitation, food safety, and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with various departments to guarantee timely meal delivery.
  • Follow established sanitation regulations and food safety procedures, adhering to departmental policies and guidelines.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience in a high-volume kitchen setting.
  • Food Handler's Certification/Permit is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Understanding of safety protocols and temperature management.
  • Flexibility in scheduling is essential.
  • Ability to lift weights up to 50 lbs.
