Job Title: Senior AI/ML Scientist

About the Role:
ECS Federal is seeking a highly skilled Senior AI/ML Scientist to join our team in Morgantown, WV. As a Senior AI/ML Scientist, you will play a key role in developing and applying advanced AI and machine learning techniques to support transformative science and technology solutions for the Department of Energy.

Key Responsibilities:
⁠ Develop, modify, and apply computer modeling and programming applications to analyze and solve mathematical and scientific problems affecting system and program performance.
⁠ Participate in all phases of scientific and engineering projects, including research, design, development, testing, modeling, simulating, training, and documentation.
⁠ Analyze and interpret complex data to identify patterns and insights from vast datasets.
⁠ Stay current with scientific advancements and propose emerging methodologies and technologies that could enhance the program's progress.
⁠ Collaborate effectively within a diverse team to drive the program forward.

Requirements:
⁠ Master's Degree in data science or a related field AND four years of related work experience in data modeling, big data, data mining, data analytics, and reporting AND Data Science Professional Certificate or relevant subject matter equivalent certification.
⁠ OR Bachelor's Degree in data science or a related field AND six years of related work experience in data modeling, big data, data mining, data analytics, and reporting AND Data Science Professional Certificate or relevant subject matter equivalent certification.
⁠ OR Ten years of related work experience in data modeling, big data, data mining, data analytics, and reporting AND Data Science Professional Certificate or relevant subject matter equivalent certification.
⁠ Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret or DOE Q clearance throughout the life of the contract.
⁠ Must be a US Citizen per contract.
⁠ Must currently live in Morgantown, WV or willing to relocate.
⁠ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
⁠ 9 years minimum AI/ML experience.
⁠ Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research, analyze data, and write scientific reports.
⁠ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
⁠ Strong work ethic and a passion for healthcare and scientific discovery.

Desired Skills:
⁠ Active Top Secret or DOE Q Clearance with the ability to maintain clearance throughout the life of the contract.
⁠ Two or more years experience supporting US Government customers.
⁠ Project Management Professional certification.
