Job Summary

This role is located at our store in Bellevue, Ohio, where we are seeking a highly motivated Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, generating sales, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with purchases.
  • Generate sales by using the S.A.L.E.S. process to help customers find products and promote sales within specified guidelines.
  • Complete all company and departmental paperwork accurately, including price change bulletins, operation actions, and inventory adjustments.
  • Receive, open, and unpack merchandise, checking paperwork against items received and replenishing stock as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment by following the nightly maintenance checklist and adhering to company policies.
  • Assist with color matching and mixing paint, and assist customers in the service areas within the store.
  • Operate cash registers by scanning merchandise, engaging customers through suggestive selling, and thanking customers for their business.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; six months of related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively with customers and associates.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a moderate noise level. The associate will work near moving mechanical parts and may work near outside weather conditions.
