We are seeking an experienced Hospitalist Physician to join our team as a medical director for our psychiatric hospital. As a member of our team, you will work collaboratively with hospital administration and the county behavioral health medical director to provide exceptional care to our patients.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a psychiatric hospital setting, with expertise in emergency psychiatry, crisis intervention, and medication management. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our emergency psychiatric unit (EPU) and crisis rehabilitation unit (CRU), ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care possible.

Requirements:

  • 8 years of experience in psychiatry, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Board certification in psychiatry
  • Experience with EMR systems, including Cerner Millennium
