Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Perioperative Technician to join our team in the operating rooms. The successful candidate will be responsible for scrub duties under the direction of the Perioperative Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment
  • Participate in the scrub team to ensure safe and efficient surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as hospital policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited program of scrub technician program
  • Certified Surgery Tech (CT OR) or equivalent experience
  • Basic life support (AHA BLS) certification
  • At least one year of previous acute hospital experience or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cardiovascular surgery experience within the past five years
