Job Title: LPN Clinic Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate LPN Clinic Nurse to join our team at Penn State Health. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient experiences.

Job Summary:

The LPN Clinic Nurse will provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients under the direction of a registered nurse or provider. This role involves observing, reporting, and recording medical information and nursing care provided in the electronic medical record. The successful candidate will also instruct patients and families according to teaching plans and communicate with the healthcare team to facilitate the coordination of individualized patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients under the direction of a registered nurse or provider.
  • Observe, report, and record medical information and nursing care provided in the electronic medical record.
  • Instruct patients and families according to teaching plans.
  • Communicate with the healthcare team to facilitate the coordination of individualized patient care.
Requirements:
  • Currently licensed to practice as a licensed practical nurse by the state of employment or holds a multistate LPN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required before completion of orientation.
