Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team at Intermountain Health. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing clinical services to patients with communication disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices and standards of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides clinical services to patients with communication disorders, including screening, testing, evaluating, diagnosing, and treating disorders of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing.
  • Consults with patients, families, and caregivers to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Supervises and educates colleagues, new employees, and students in training.
  • Maintains effective communication and relationships with other professionals, patients, families, and caregivers.
  • Participates in patient care conferences and staff meetings as required.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state Speech Pathologist license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
  • Current certificate of clinical competence.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with dysphagia, CVA, TBI, and aphasia.
  • Outpatient experience.
  • Speech Pathology experience.
  • Hospital experience.
