Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist PRN

At Intermountain Health, we are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist PRN to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist PRN, you will be responsible for providing clinical services to patients with speech, language, and cognitive communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Screen, test, evaluate, diagnose, and treat disorders of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing.
  • Consult, educate, and train patients and their caregivers.
  • Provide clinical services utilizing standards of care and evidence-based practices.
  • Comply with department and regulatory requirements and guidelines for documentation, charging, and scheduling.
  • Supervise and educate colleagues, new employees, and students in training.
  • Maintain effective communication and relationships with other professionals, patients, families, and caregivers.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state Speech Pathologist license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
  • Current certificate of clinical competence.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Speech Pathology experience.
  • Hospital experience.
  • Experience with the target population to be treated.
  • Basic computer skills.
