We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor to join our team in the Department of Mathematical Sciences. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching Mathematics and/or Statistics courses to a diverse set of students.
Key Responsibilities- Teach Mathematics and/or Statistics courses at the undergraduate level, working collaboratively with a team led by a faculty Course Coordinator.
- Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of your responsibilities, including participation in meetings and common tasks when part of a coordinated course team.
- Review and respond to all University-related communications in a timely manner.
- Academic degree in an appropriate discipline and prior teaching experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex material to students unfamiliar with a subject.
- Ability to work and collaborate with individuals from a variety of culturally diverse backgrounds.
- Master's degree in Mathematics or Statistics, or a Master's degree in any discipline and at least 18 credit hours of graduate-level coursework in Mathematics or Statistics.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex material.
- Ability to work and collaborate with individuals from a variety of culturally diverse backgrounds.
