Job Title: 1st Shift Sorter

At Waste Connections, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a 1st Shift Sorter. This role is responsible for sorting recycled materials onto different conveyor belts and maintaining the cleanliness of the recycling area and yard outside.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sort recycled materials onto different conveyor belts
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the recycling area and yard outside
  • Help maintain equipment such as baler and conveyor line
  • Assume custodial duties as needed
  • Perform other manual labor tasks that do not involve the operation of heavy equipment
Requirements:
  • Ability to perform minimal computer-related tasks
  • Must be able to stand continually through entire shift
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
