Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. As a Senior Accounting Professional, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and overseeing daily financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including setting up vendors and clients in tracking systems, initiating bills and invoices, and ensuring timely payments.
  • Record and post day-to-day financial transactions, including monitoring financial reports and reconciliations.
  • Manage payroll and tax processes, including bi-weekly payroll and tax payments, as well as administering time and attendance systems.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports through data collection and entry in QuickBooks.
  • Collaborate with the Controller to ensure proper tax filings and accurate financial reporting.
Operational Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate employment records, data, and personnel files, including new hire, termination, transfer, and promotion documentation.
  • Set up approved vendors and customers in Company systems, collecting necessary documentation.
  • Manage commission tracking and payment for sales team members.
  • Oversee completion of required reporting for employee benefits, including W-2s and ACA filings.
  • Support new hire onboarding process as assigned.
Requirements
  • Required experience: 5+ years of bookkeeping experience.
  • Preferred education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Required industry experience or certification: QuickBooks training and/or certification.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
