As a Senior Software Engineer for AWS Cloud Services, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, testing, and deploying highly scalable distributed systems and services.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with talented engineers to create and deploy systems and services that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, test and deploy highly scalable distributed systems and services
  • Decompose complex problems into simple, straightforward solutions while understanding system interdependencies and limitations
  • Share knowledge of effective performance, scalability, architecture, and engineering patterns and methods
  • Create clear, maintainable, well-documented code that meets coding standards and best practices
  • Participate in code reviews, source control management, build processes, release management, and operations
  • Work closely across teams and disciplines to deliver high-quality products and services

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Salary: The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market.
