School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity

We are seeking a licensed Speech Therapist (SLP) to join our team in Hillsborough, NC. As a key member of our school district, you will provide speech and language services to students with communication disorders, evaluate and diagnose communication disorders, and develop treatment plans.

Job Details:
  • This is a full-time position with a caseload that will be discussed during the interview.
  • You will work onsite during the school year.
Compensation Package:

Our competitive salary is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, with weekly pay and guaranteed work hours. You will also receive payment for both direct and indirect services rendered, liability insurance coverage, and benefits such as health, vision, dental, and 401k options for full-time employees working a minimum of 30 hours per week. Stipends may be available under certain circumstances.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to diagnose communication disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and assessments.
  • Provide speech and language therapy to students in both individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as teachers and parents, to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
  • Maintain accurate records of evaluations, assessments, and therapy sessions.
  • Attend meetings and provide reports on student progress.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have a valid State SLP License, a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent, prior school-based experience preferred but not mandatory, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and strong organizational and time management skills.
