Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain buildings, attachments, and grounds by performing tasks such as mowing, tree trimming, weed-eating, and landscaping.
  • Operate and use Tennant walk behind floor cleaner to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Total clean-up of Break Room at start of week to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Maintain plant lighting- replacing lamps as required to ensure adequate lighting throughout the facility.
  • Sweeping aisle daily to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Wipe down guard rails along aisle to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain, clean and organized, areas including Air Compressor rooms, Hot oil rooms, MCC rooms and Soap Storage area.
  • Maintain hazardous waste area; clean as needed and organized to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Painting and scraping as required to include floor epoxy application to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Salt application during icy and snow accumulation periods to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Snow shoveling as and where needed to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Drive snow plow truck to remove snow in parking lots (Cold weather) to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Drive and operate the Bobcat sweeper to clean parking lots (Warm weather) to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Safely operate aerial lift equipment such as Snorkel lift and scissor lifts to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness of exterior work areas to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Distribution of delivered janitorial supplies to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Follow and enforce all safety rules and procedures, training, and initiatives to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain good housekeeping in all work areas to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Participate on safety teams to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Participate on process teams to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Other tasks as directed or required to ensure a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Regular attendance, timeliness, and scheduling flexibility are required.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Accountability and ownership for actions.
  • Able to think under pressure and make quick decisions.
  • Ability to work well in a team or alone.
  • Able to communicate in English.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and do basic math.
  • Able to learn the responsibilities of the position.
  • Basic computer skills (E-Mail, Excel, Word, SAP).
