Job Overview

JEO Consulting Group is a leading multidisciplinary firm that values great work-life integration and a relaxed, supportive, and inclusive environment. We are seeking a highly skilled Survey Crew Chief to lead our field operations and direct the work of one or more survey teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and direct the work of one or more survey teams to perform field work on civil engineering, construction, and general surveying projects.
  • Oversee the operation of various survey equipment, including GPA and Robotic Total Station.
  • Process field data and perform staking calculations to ensure accurate results.
  • Maintain and operate all instruments and equipment needed to complete surveying tasks.
  • Demonstrate excellent safety practices and behaviors on project sites.
  • Work independently, be self-motivated, and have good organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with clients and collaborate with the team to achieve project goals.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent.
  • 3+ years' experience in field surveying.
  • Ability and willingness to perform work in both the field and office settings.
  • Valid driver's license with a driving record that is approved by our insurance provider.
