Key Responsibilities

  • Surveillance and Patrols: Conduct regular internal foot patrols of the facility to detect and prevent potential security threats.
  • Security Response: Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies, and take appropriate action to resolve the situation.
  • Access Control: Monitor and control access to restricted areas, and ensure that only authorized personnel have access to sensitive information and equipment.
  • Emergency Procedures: Assist in the evacuation of the facility in the event of an emergency, and provide support to emergency responders as needed.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of security incidents and activities, and provide regular reports to management.

Requirements

  • Age and Experience: Must be at least 21 years of age, and have prior experience in a security or law enforcement role.
  • Physical and Mental Abilities: Must be physically and mentally capable of performing the duties of the role, including standing for long periods and responding to emergency situations.
  • Education and Training: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and complete any required training or certification programs.

Working Conditions

The Security Officer will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and will be required to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The Security Officer will also be required to wear a uniform and carry a radio or other communication device.
