As a Staff Physician, you will be responsible for managing the diagnosis and treatment of patients at our Community Health Center, providing high-quality care in a culturally competent manner.
Key Responsibilities- Manage patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
- Provide primary medical care to a medically underserved, low-income, uninsured patient population
- Participate in the Center's Quality Performance Improvement program
- Advise management on clinical matters and quality improvement efforts
- Maintain compliance with Federal, State, and Local health care regulations
- Medical Doctor with current Maryland licensure
- DEA registered
- CDS licensed
- CPR certified
- Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in acute care setting
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data, transcribing, and using measurement devices. The worker is subject to hazards, including proximity to moving mechanical parts and exposure to high heat.
