Supervisor: Foreman

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to enhance our operations. In this position, you will be tasked with managing machinery that processes roadway materials and may blend them with asphalt, cement, or other stabilizing agents. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting maintenance on the machinery and making necessary adjustments as required.

Primary Duties:

  • Control machinery by initiating engines, adjusting throttles, and utilizing levers and pedals
  • Guide truck operators to ensure efficient loading of materials
  • Identify and mitigate potential hazards and obstacles on the worksite
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including lubrication and greasing
  • Diagnose issues and adjust equipment as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Physical capability to navigate a construction site and lift weights up to 50 pounds
  • Adherence to all safety regulations and protocols
  • Willingness to undertake additional responsibilities as needed

Work Environment: This position entails outdoor work in varying weather conditions and exposure to elevated noise levels.
