Medical Support Professional

This position is part of the Cancer Center team, working alongside various healthcare professionals. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for routine back office functions, patient preparation, and assisting physicians and nurses as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine back office functions, including patient preparation and data entry.
- Assist physicians and nurses with patient care and medical procedures.
- Provide exceptional patient experience and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a credentialing test within 90 days of employment.
- Certification or Registration as a medical assistant required through a recognized certification organization.
- Minimum of one year of Primary Care Experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
Columbus Regional Health offers a comprehensive benefits package and competitive hourly compensation, with a range of $17.27 to $25.89. This PRN position requires working primarily on Mondays, 8:00AM-5:00PM.
