Clinical Care Assistant

The Clinical Care Assistant will provide exceptional patient care and support to our medical team at Ohio ENT & Allergy Physicians. This role involves greeting patients, taking vitals, rooming patients, completing chart documentation, cleaning exam rooms, and maintaining a clean work environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, knowledge of medical software, and the ability to work in a fast-paced medical office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients and take vitals as needed
Room patients and complete chart documentation
Clean exam rooms and maintain a clean work environment
Assist physicians during procedures
Prepare and date sterile kits per protocol
Provide discharge instruction/education to patients
Requirements:
A minimum of 1 year experience in a medical office environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of AthenaHealth (formerly GE-Centricity) practice management software, timekeeping software, and EHR packages
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
Adheres to all HIPAA privacy and security regulations and guidelines
Must be aware of and comply with all OSHA standards and guidelines
Work Environment:
Medical office environment. Mondays-Fridays | 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Occasional overtime may be required
