We are in search of a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who possesses exceptional communication skills and a strong dedication to employee support. This role is pivotal in fostering relationships across all levels of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the administration of employee benefits programs, encompassing health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement plans, and additional voluntary benefits.
- Act as the primary resource for employees regarding benefits-related questions, issues, and concerns.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations related to employee benefits, including COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, and ERISA.
- Organize and facilitate benefits enrollment sessions, providing clear and informative guidance to employees.
- Collaborate with HR and Payroll departments to guarantee accurate and timely processing of benefits transactions.
- Maintain precise records and documentation associated with employee benefits, including audits and reconciliations.
- Engage with external vendors and brokers to manage relationships and negotiate benefits contracts.
- Develop and disseminate employee communications regarding benefits and wellness initiatives.
- Ensure the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in Employee Navigator and payroll systems.
- Assist with onboarding new hires.
- Enroll employees with benefit carriers and process life status changes.
- Address benefits inquiries from management and staff regarding plan provisions, enrollments, and status changes.
- Respond to 401(k) inquiries from management and employees concerning enrollments and plan modifications.
- Support the employee recognition program and related initiatives.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
- Familiarity with Viewpoint Spectrum is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a positive demeanor.
- Ability to interact professionally and effectively with all levels of staff.
Education and Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree is required.
- One to three years of experience in professional human resource administration is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally.
- Able to use hands and perform repetitive movements.
Work Environment:
- Office-based work with varying temperatures.
Job Type: Full-time, Non-exempt
Salary: $60,000 to $65,000, based on experience
