Job Title: Mental Health Counselor Lead

InterCommunity is seeking a seasoned Mental Health Counselor Lead to supervise and direct the mental health counseling team. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in mental health counseling and leadership.

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year.

Job Description:

  • The successful candidate will oversee the mental health counseling program, ensuring high-quality care and services to residents.
  • They will be responsible for supervising staff, developing treatment plans, and managing crisis situations on the unit.
  • Additionally, they will collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and communicate effectively with residents and their families.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a related field and Connecticut State licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LADC).
  • Three years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, as well as ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
