Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Groundperson to join our team at Heidelberg Materials US, Inc. in Skaneateles. As a Groundperson, you will be responsible for maintaining the plant areas, assisting with production, and performing maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain plant areas, including heavy lifting and shoveling
  • Assist with production process and perform maintenance tasks
  • Learn operation of on-site equipment, lubricate and maintain fixed plant equipment
  • Perform heavy maintenance when required
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 1-2 years of general labor and maintenance experience
  • Prior experience working in a construction environment highly desired
