About the Job
The Medical Screener is a critical role within our plasma collection team. As a Medical Screener, you'll be responsible for conducting thorough interviews and screenings with potential donors to assess their suitability for plasma collection. This involves reviewing their medical history, current health status, and other factors that may impact their eligibility to donate. You'll also be responsible for administering health screening tests, such as blood pressure checks and temperature readings, to determine whether a donor is healthy enough to participate in the plasma collection process. In addition to these responsibilities, you may also be required to educate new donors on the use of therapeutic products made from donated plasma and maintain accurate records of donor interactions and outcomes.

Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent required* At least three months of experience in a clerical or customer service-related position, preferably in a medical or healthcare environment* Ability to perform basic math calculations* Understanding and following basic instructions and guidelines* Ability to see and speak with customers and observe equipment operation* Fast-paced work environment with frequent interruptions* May be required to wear personal protective equipment while performing specific tasks or in certain areas

Compensation and Benefits
A salary of $50,000 - $65,000 per year is estimated for this part-time position in the United States. Additionally, you'll have access to paid sick leave, career growth opportunities, and our 401(k) plan.
