Westminster Palms is a premier facility dedicated to providing exceptional active living experiences. We are seeking a Speech Therapist to join our team on a PRN basis. This role involves comprehensive patient assessments, tailored care planning, direct therapeutic interventions, and expert consultation for a diverse rehabilitation caseload.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Assess, diagnose, and treat cognitive, swallowing, speech, and language disorders in accordance with physician directives.
2. Conduct thorough evaluations and screenings to identify therapy requirements, documenting a personalized Plan of Care for each resident.
3. Develop and implement training programs for caregiver staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
4. Ensure accurate and timely documentation, maintaining all records within the system.
5. Perform resident screenings during the admission process, as well as quarterly and annual evaluations to assess ongoing therapy needs.

Essential Qualifications:
A Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology and relevant professional licensure as mandated by state regulations are required. A minimum of two years of clinical experience is preferred. Candidates must exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills, along with effective time management abilities.

Additionally, the ability to navigate complex systems and interact proficiently with various levels of staff and clients is essential. Availability to work weekends is advantageous.
