Job Opportunity: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Supplemental Health Care. As a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work with students to assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students
  • Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students' communication needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school professionals to provide support and accommodations for students
  • Provide direct and indirect services to students, including speech and language therapy sessions
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to share progress and recommendations

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
  • North Carolina Speech-Language Pathology License
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • ASHA Certification
  • Preferred: School experience and knowledge of North Carolina education laws and regulations
