**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team at UF Health Laboratories. As a Medical Laboratory Scientist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures in the assigned area, maintaining a high level of accuracy and proficiency, and providing excellent customer service to our patients and healthcare providers.

**Responsibilities**

* Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of test results and patient information
* Collaborate with other laboratory staff and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
* Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure the highest level of laboratory performance

**Requirements**

* Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)
* Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field (required)
* Current Florida License TC - Laboratory Clinical Technician
* Previous laboratory experience preferred

This position will be required to work every other Sunday and Saturday rotation.
