Overview

MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission certified provider of contract staffing services, offers a unique opportunity for experienced nurses to work on a per diem basis in our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a top healthcare facility in Flint, Michigan.

Estimated Salary

We offer an estimated weekly salary of $1,800-$2,000 for this 13-week assignment, with the potential for higher earnings based on experience and certifications.

Job Responsibilities

As a PCU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assessing patient needs, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans.

You will collect and analyze data, identify potential nursing diagnoses, and develop targeted interventions to promote positive patient outcomes.

  • Assess patient needs and identify signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare members to inform nursing diagnoses
  • Develop and implement patient education plans to promote health literacy and self-management
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A valid RN license
  • Degree from an accredited nursing program
  • BLS certifications
  • At least 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care PACU setting
