Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Care Specialist to join our team at the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters. As a Nursing Care Specialist, you will provide developmentally appropriate psychosocial and clinical care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This is an excellent opportunity for students currently enrolled in an Associates, Diploma, or Bachelors of Science Nursing program to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Participate in assigned educational activities to enhance your knowledge and skills.
  • Assist with more sophisticated clinical treatments as needed, while maintaining close communication with the supervising RN.

Requirements:
  • CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN A NURSING PROGRAM WITH AT LEAST TWO SEMESTERS OF CLINICAL ROTATION COMPLETE
  • CPR TRAINING REQUIRED WITHIN 45 DAYS OF HIRE

Work Environment: Our hospital offers a supportive and dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and development. You will be working in normal office and patient care environments with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature, and other elements.

Estimated Salary Range: $19-$25 per hour (based on 16 hours per week)
