Key Responsibilities- Business Rules Strategy and Solutions: Develop and implement business rules strategy and solutions for modern Payment and Billing platforms, ensuring seamless integration with business processes and systems.

- Thought Leadership and Technology Transformation: Display strong thought leadership in pursuit of modern architecture principles and technology modernization, driving continuous technology transformation to minimize technical debt.
- Process and System Alignment: Evaluate existing processes and systems to identify opportunities for implementing business rules to support Travelers Payment and Billing ecosystem, ensuring alignment of business processes with technical capabilities and target state roadmap.
- Partnership and Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with engineering teams to ensure proper alignment of skills with technology direction, and collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to develop a unified approach to business rules and process implementations.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent with 4+ years of technology engineering experience, organizational experience in an agile operating model, and established work in proof of concepts and technology.
- Software Engineering Experience: Strong proven software engineering experience, supports technology target state, roadmaps that aligned to short- and long-term business goals, and executed large-scale business rules implementation.
- Commercial Business Rules Engine Experience: Current experience with leading commercial business rules engines, strong grasp of value creation and business capability models, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Cloud Architecture and Security: Cloud architecture certification (AWS, GCP, or Azure) or strong architecture experience on cloud, good understanding of security, and experienced with large-scale technology platforms.
