We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at our McKinney, Texas location.

Job Summary

This is a 2nd shift position with a 3:00PM start time, 10-12 hour shift, with occasional overtime. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in heavy truck equipment maintenance and repair or completion of a diesel tech program.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
  • Complete required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
  • Review, complete or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
  • Perform maintenance related work as required.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
  • Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
  • Ability to effectively communicate needed repairs or tasks.
Requirements
  • Must have own tools.
  • Preferably 2+ year experience in heavy truck equipment maintenance and repair or completion of a diesel tech program.
